Weekly Email
At a TeachMeet at Anglia Ruskin University, we heard a presentation about giving students QR Code links to videos and other learning resources in advance of lectures to prepare them for what they'd be learning. Yes, flipped learning. But, in addition to flipping the learning, it was ensuring that the students knew what the content of the lectures would be.

TMBett16 Presentation
We've attended the Bett Show in some way for almost ten years. In addition, we've been able to attend the Friday evening TeachMeet for each of the last four years. We always come away from both buzzing, revitalised and full of new ideas.

This year, Liam decided to put himself down to present at the TeachMeet, and sure enough (after spending all day telling anyone who'd listen that he hoped his name wouldn't come up) the random name chooser fell - late in the evening - on '@ThisIsLiamM'. Liam presented about ideas previously shared on this blog and elsewhere. His slides can be found below, along with other relevant links.

Windows for Displays - #TMHerts #TMUK
On Thursday 6th February, we presented at the Herts TeachMeet as part of the National TeachMeet Day:
We saw a Tweet where someone had put a QR Code (linking to online work) on children's positive post cards that had been sent home. We decided, as a result, to put QR Code in our children's reading journals when their work was published online. One day there was a spare code. We stuck this to the window. That then developed...
